2009 Interfaith Dialogue Series

One of the core purposes of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado is to promote understanding of Colorado’s diverse faith traditions. One of the key ways we do this is through interfaith dialogue. We invite you to join us for the final program our 2009 series:

Zen Center of Denver
Tues., Nov. 17, 6:26 – 9:00 p.m.
3101 W. 31st Ave., Denver, CO 80211

The Zen Center of Denver is a Zen Buddhist community (sangha) offering Zen Buddhist practice and training. The primary practice of the Zen Center of Denver is zazen - seated meditation. Zazen is the heart of Zen practice and is simultaneously the full expression of inherent enlightenment (satori), as well as the means of uncovering it. Zazen can be said to take place in stillness (sitting) as well as in activity (kinhin, walking meditation, and samu, work practice, and attention in all activities).
